Industries
Twelve industries, and the deal experience behind each one
Duc has closed, brokered or advised on transactions in every category below — from business loans and mortgages to seaport logistics, frozen durian and U.S. beef. We don't claim expertise in every industry, and we'll tell you plainly when a project falls outside what we do well.

Food & Agricultural Trade
Where most of our day-to-day trade work happens — commodities and perishables moving in both directions, on cold chains and buyer relationships that have to hold.

Aquatic Products (Fish & Shrimp)
Seafood is one of the categories we spend the most time in. Cold-chain logistics, HACCP and FSVP expectations, and distributors who can genuinely receive and move frozen product are what decide whether a first container turns into a standing order.
- Frozen shrimp
- Pangasius / catfish
- Value-added and processed seafood
- U.S. cold-chain distribution

Agriculture (Rice & Cereal)
Rice and cereal trade at volume, where the deal turns on grade, moisture, packing and payment terms as much as on price. We work with producers and trading houses on the commercial terms and on the U.S. import requirements that apply to their specific commodity.
- Rice — long grain, jasmine, fragrant
- Cereals and grains
- Coffee and cacao
- Bulk agricultural ingredients
Frozen Fruits (Durian)
Frozen durian runs on cold-chain integrity and buyer relationships in equal measure. We help exporters understand what U.S. importers, Asian-market retailers and food-service buyers expect on grading, packaging and shipment consistency — and connect them with distributors who already sell the category.
- Frozen whole and de-shelled durian
- Frozen tropical fruit and purée
- Asian retail and food-service channels
- Packaging, grading and cold-chain planning

Livestock & Meat (Beef, Pork, Chicken)
Most of this trade runs in the other direction: Vietnamese importers buying U.S. protein. We qualify suppliers and plants, put landed cost on the table honestly, and coordinate the cold-chain and import steps that follow.
- U.S. beef
- U.S. pork
- U.S. chicken and poultry
- Plant qualification and cold-chain import coordination

Food & Beverage
Packaged and shelf-stable products face a different set of questions than fresh or frozen goods — labeling, retail placement, and whether a broker or a distributor is the right route to the buyer you actually want.
- Packaged and shelf-stable foods
- Sauces, seasonings and condiments
- Beverages
- Frozen and prepared meals
Finance & Real Estate
Duc's original industry, and still the side of a deal that decides how much you can actually do. Lending and property, handled under a U.S. mortgage license.
Banking & Finance
Duc's career started on the lending side, and it is still where a great many deals are won or lost. Whether it is a mortgage on an investment property, a working-capital line for a U.S. business, or an SBA-backed expansion, we structure the financing instead of handing you a phone number.
- Business loans and working capital
- Residential and commercial mortgages
- DSCR, foreign national and ITIN programs
- SBA 7(a) / 504
Real Estate (Commercial & Residential)
Investors usually start with listings. We start with what you can borrow, then what the property is actually worth once you look past the photos — inspection, appraisal, title, rent comparables and the numbers that follow from them.
- Single-family, condo and 2–4 unit residential
- Retail, office, mixed-use and apartment buildings
- Financing and pre-approval before you tour
- Inspection, appraisal and title due diligence
Energy, Telecom & Manufacturing
Larger-ticket, procurement-heavy sectors where the work is qualifying the counterparty and structuring terms before anyone commits.
Petroleum (Gasoline & Oil)
Petroleum trades on verification: who actually holds the product, whether the documentation matches, and whether both sides can genuinely perform. We help buyers and sellers test that before anyone signs — and we will tell you plainly when a deal does not hold up.
- Gasoline and diesel
- Fuel oil and lubricants
- Supplier and buyer verification
- Contract and payment-structure review
Telecom
Telecom work is procurement-heavy and relationship-driven — long qualification cycles, detailed technical specifications, and buyers who will not move on a vendor they have not been introduced to properly. We have worked inside that cycle and know what a serious supplier package has to contain.
- Equipment and hardware supply
- Vendor qualification and procurement support
- Infrastructure and installation partners
- Channel and distribution partners

Manufacturing
Manufactured goods that need a route into U.S. distribution, and U.S. brands looking for Vietnamese factories that can hold a spec, a lead time and a price across repeat orders.
- Consumer goods
- Industrial components
- Furniture and home goods
- Private-label and contract manufacturing
Logistics, Distribution & Retail
The infrastructure underneath every other category — ports, freight, warehousing, and the distributors and retail buyers a product ultimately has to reach.
Seaports & Logistics
Logistics is where a well-negotiated deal quietly loses its margin. Port handling, freight terms, customs timing and reefer capacity all sit between a signed contract and a delivered container, and we plan for them before the goods move rather than after.
- Ocean freight and port coordination
- Licensed customs brokerage coordination
- Cold-chain and reefer logistics
- Warehousing and 3PL partners

Distribution & Retail
A product that clears customs still has to reach a shelf or a kitchen. We work with wholesale companies, regional distributors and retail buyers on both sides of the Pacific to open new supply lines and buying relationships.
- Wholesale and trading companies
- Regional and national distributors
- Retail and grocery buyers
- Import / export trading houses
